I found a place for Dads and Moms and whiny kids tired of riding in the car would all say is a fun place to go-- Train-O-Rama in Port Clinton, Ohio!

Train-O-Rama, as you can see, offers Ohio's largest model railroad display, operating Lionel, K-Line, MTH and other trains on a huge scale and multiple levels. As you can see above, a Big Boy locomotive comes around the mountain as an F-3 leads a string of cars out of the tunnel.

Here, a BNSF locomotive leads a long freight through the station...

...then heads out of town and up the grade past a strong of tank cars being pulled in the other direction.
As a streetcar meanders through town as we peek through the bushes at the end of the line...

...other trains roar down the mainline...

...or slowly climb the trestle out of town.

For more information, please stop by Train-O-Rama's web site.
A special thanks to Carl who gave me so much advice during my visit on how to design, wire and build my train layout next year! -- Pat aka Bluejeans
