It took a little bit of detective work, but I finally chased down the source of the TUSLOG Detachment 150 coffee mugs.

If you mug was destroyed, lost, worn out or whatever over the years, you can order another one from:

When Mil-Art asks what unit mug you want, you need to specify the mug as it is listed in their inventory:

Det 150, "Proud To Be On Top" - Turkey

Note:  The unit emblem is not listed in their inventory under "TUSLOG Det 150"; only as "Det 150, "Proud To Be On Top" - Turkey".  You need to be specific on this point to make sure you get the right mug.

JUNE 2007 UPDATE

On Sunday, June 17, 2007, I was very surprised to read an e-mail from yet another Det 150 alumnus, Jeffrey Nartatez of Hawaii, who filled in this little pieces of the site's history from his November 1972 to September 1973 tour:

"I drew the logo a senior master sergeant submitted as the color ink image for approval.  My image was selected to go on the mug.  Today, I am a part time artist and custom picture framer.  I actually went to college after my 4 yrs. and graduated with a bachelors in Fine Arts @ the University of Hawaii Manoa.  While in the US Air Force I found myself doing drawings and colored pen paintings.  The survival of the image on the mug rekindled fond memories of the men who served on Falcon Hill.  The images on your web site is absolutely  first class.  Thank you for sharing those images."

Jeffrey, thank you for passing on this piece of Det 150's history!
