on this aviation map. You'll notice "Yalova" a little bit
above the Sahintepe antenna markings. Yalova, a city
located about 30 miles away, had a military air strip called "Site
4" which served the old Karamursel Air Base when it was
operational. A small radio transmitter-repeated operated by
TUSLOG Detachment 150 relayed radio signals to some Turkish military
units in the Yalova area.
