As you probably read on our previous Dalmatian Rescue page, in August 2006, Mick the Dalmatian escaped from a horrible situation as an unwanted, malnourished dog and joined us at Bluejeans Place.

A few weeks of good food, treats, and lots of hugs had Mick looking good out front, holding down a fire hydrant and watching the neighborhood....

...when who should pull up but Miami Township's own Engine 48 crew to test Mick's fire hydrant!

After the hydrant test, Engine 48's crew took a few minutes to welcome Mick to Miami Township, but then they had to leave to check out the rest of the neighborhood.

While Mick didn't want his new pals leave, he gave them a Dalmatian-style salute, sitting at attention with Sylvia, as Engine 48 drove off slowly down the street.

A special Bluejeans Place wave to Engine 48, Miami Township, Ohio!
