As mentioned on my Project Management page,
I'm writing a project team playbook which outlines an integrated,
due diligence process approach to not only executing a project, but
also getting it off to a good start and, at the end, transitioned
cleanly to routine operations. While this framework
illustrates an information technology project, a smart project
manager can change a few words around and apply it to virtually any
business area.
The framework is not 2,000
steps long--it's the top 50 tasks needed to initiate, plan, execute
and control a project--and then transition its product or
service to normal operations. It's designed so each of the
responsible parties, from the business process owner to the
operations department to the project manager and the technical
staff are accountable to each other in a transparent process.
A smart project manager will take these 50 top steps and
break them down into assignable work packages.
I need to validate this
process framework, so I'm putting a win-win offer on the
table. I'm looking for a few companies or organizations who
would like to use this process framework on their projects.
I'll provide a three-year copyright-fee free license for the
framework in exchange for a professional reference and project
summary validating its use.
To protect everyone's
proprietary concerns, a joint non-disclosure agreement will be
required before a copy of the framework will be provided for
review.
If you're interested,
please e-mail me so we can
discuss further.
