If you use the "Email Me" page, your comments will be dropped into my e-mail box on AT&T's Worldnet Service.  I am always amazed at the wide variety of visitors to Bluejeans' Place, from project managers around the world to blues fans to old friends from the Air Force.

After getting a lambasting one day from a bigot who didn't like my site, I decided to fight fire with a flamethrower!  Here are a few of your notes of support:

From my oldest friend in the world, John, who goes back with me to 8th grade:

Pat,
I just checked out your web site, looks great!. I'll be checking back
from time to time to see your updates. Hope all is well with you, things
here crazy as usual.  When you have a chance check out my web site I did
for my bicycle team    http://gallery.consumerreview.com/roadbike/gallery/files/TeamPhoto@NYCRide.asp

Take care,
John

From a project manager in Bangalore, India:

I want to thank you for the valuable information on PMI. You are doing a
great service to the community by providing such information on PMI. I have
searched the web for a considerable time. I could not get such information
in other sites.

From a project manager out somewhere in Consulting Land:

Hi Pat,
Am beginning the study for the PMP exam.
Have my letter and targeted mid August to take the thing.
If I can fast track my studying, then will take the exam sooner.
TNX for the info on your web page.

From my buddy Chuck who was in the Air Force with me and worked on my first software project:

Pat,
Just wanted to say Hi. And that I am really impressed with your page and proud of the efforts that you are putting into it. Keep up the good work. The WWW needs more sites like yours. I will be proud to show these pages to my grand kids.

Always
"Chuck"

From a relative of the Dockery's of Dockery's Plantation in blues music history:

Great site, I was neat to see a link to my Great Grandfather's plantation.  I have only been there one time, so getting to see links to it on the web are very special.

From yet another project manager:

Your information is the most helpful information I found re: PMP Exam preparation.

From Mad Mike, a blues fan:

A cyber friend posted your url on TweedsBluesBoard(sorry,I don't know the url there) so I thought I would check out your site.I'm sure that Tweed will be inviting you over to take a look at his site.
I'm impressed with your site & I pretty much agree with your outlook on life.
I visited Clarksdale last summer for the Sunflower River Blues and Gospel Fest,my wife and I are planning to go again this year.Your picture at the crossroads sign is much better than mine,my wife refused to stand in the street to take it.
Anyway, just wanted to say that I enjoyed your website & that I've bookmarked it so I can check back from time to time.

From Reddog Higgins who let me use his music as background on the site:

Pat, Yes, you have my permission. I'm glad you are adding an Elmore page. So few people realize what an incredible blues vocalist Elmore James was. He was so much more than just a slide guitar player. Thank you for supporting the blues. I appreciate the link back to my site also. Good luck with your site. And once again thank you for spreading the word about the blues!  Reddog

From Dee in Altoona, Pennsylvania:
Hi there Bluejeans.  Just wanted to drop ya a line and tell you how much I enjoyed your Horseshoe Curve pics.  I see u were there in July.  In Sept...hubby and I opened a sandwich and ice cream stand there called TrackSnacks.  Hope you come back soon to the Curve.  Stop up and say Hi.
Dee from Pa

As I read these comments and others, I became more and more convinced how much Ann Landers was mistaken when she used to speak of the Internet with scorn and sermons on morality as if all there was to the 'Net was pornography and hate.

Web sites have a very real place in enriching our culture and bringing people together.  I hope Bluejeans' Place is living up to that mission every day.
