Complaint Department Bluejeans' Place

It doesn't happen too often, but I sometimes I receive complaints from site visitors about Bluejeans' Place. So far, since Bluejeans' Place went live on the Internet in June 2000, I received exactly two (2) complaints, both full of stereotypes and unsubstantiated allegations. Considering we served over 60,000 unique page views since January 25, 2003 alone, I think we're doing pretty well in satisfying our visitors' search for knowledge.

The e-mail exchange below includes the second complaint and my answer to it on April 27, 2003. In the interest of furthering our mission of "Teaching Tolerance, Enriching Minds", I am reprinting that e-mail here in its entirety less my personal e-mail address. Please excuse any typographical errors in the parts not in Comic Sans 10 point blue type--they were not written by me!

Some of the complaint's wording sounds familiar to me. Does anyone recognize some of the phrases like I do as parroting some talk radio stars? It sure sounds familiar to me!

Your gross stereotyping of me was offensive. Your lack of research speaks volumes about you.

At the same time, your complaint is the first one I received in over 60,000 unique page views by web site visitors since January 25, 2003 and only the second negative e-mail I have received since my site went live nearly three years ago. Those figures speak volumes about your complaint.

When the rash of church burnings were going down and they were using racial profiling to claim whites had done it, where was the outcry from liberals? When the FBI found out that most of the church burnings were actually set by blacks, where was the apology from liberals?

--> Considering the long history of church burnings conducted at the instigation of whites including the one in Neshoba County MS which later resulted in three murders, some might believe the FBI's approach was a reasonable law enforcement position. If you have a problem with that investigative approach, you should take it up with then-Director Freeh of the FBI or current FBI Director Mueller. I have no authority over how the FBI investigates their cases. If you knew anything about me, you would know I believe law enforcement operates from a starting position that everyone is no good or guilty except for law enforcement personnel until proven otherwise at trial.

--> At the same time, can you quote me on a specific date or time where I said racial profiling is acceptable? Don't bother searching for the answer--I'll give it to you--I never did.

If you're still following along this far, this guy sent me a response where you'll note he continues to flog me for things I have never done, but fails to respond to the facts presented to him. In so many words--he's a blow-hard in denial!

Your complaint about liberal stereotyping is hypocritical on its face for the following reasons:

2. You continue to accuse me of conducting, preaching or condoning stereotyping when in fact I have never done such a thing, a fact you were informed about yesterday.

3. You failed, when confronted with facts, to respond specifically to the questions I posed to you where you accused me of acts I have never committed.

Your complaint to me is nothing but yet another example of one human stereotyping another. Your disregard for facts presented directly to you and your continued accusations about me undermine any argument you may present.

main question which is.. why is it ok for liberals to whine about

Liberals love free speech..as long as they agree with what's being said,
anything else they brand "hate speech" and call for it's banning and the
punishment of those who spoke. Just ask John Rocker or Trent Lott about
their right to "free speech". Gee, where were the liberals then? How about
the ACLU? I guess free speech isn't for everyone, huh?

Liberals hate discrimination... unless it's used to keep white boys out of

Yeah that's smart make America better by keeping those who score the best on
entrance exams OUT of college. In this high tech world, that makes sense, huh?

Liberals hate racial profiling.. unless they're talking about CEO's, the
Police, Republicans, or Christians. How many black men do think they
interviewed when all those black churches were being burned down? Do you
think they looked at white skin heads first? Where was the liberal outcry
then? I guess it's ok to profile if your a liberal, huh?

Liberals think all women clubs and schools are good.. All male clubs and
schools are evil
All black clubs and schools good, all white clubs and schools evil. Diversity
means
"anyone but white men" As Clarance Thomas argued recently, why should black
schools be exempt from the laws that govern white schools? It's not about
race, it's about integrity, Using discrimination to fight discrimination is
like beating a child to teach him violence is wrong. What should I tell my
sons? Discrimination is wrong unless it happens to me? How can I look at
anyone as my equal when they keep telling me how different and disadvantaged
they are? Valid questions yet to be answered by liberals.

Tim Robbins thinks that people like the head of Baseball Hall of Fame
shouldn't use their positions in society to promote their personal agendas..
ONLY he and other high school drop out actors are entitled to that right.
Martin Sheen couldn't even get into college, he failed his entrance exams but
he knows more about the Iraq situation than Colin Powell? Get real.

Democrats say that anyone that makes 60k and owns stock is "rich". I live in
NYC and
I know many people who fit that bill, yet NONE of them are anywhere near
rich. How can they be when rent is 2 grand a month? Simple class warfare from
Libs. they keep saying "ENRON" but they never talk about Global Crossing, you
know, the company DNC Chairman Terry McCulliff sat on the board, invested
100k and turned that in 18 MILLION while the workers lost their pensions? I
guess it's ok to steal from the working class as long as your a Democrat,
huh?

I could go on for days about the hypocrisy you and yours embrace but it would
be a waste of time. You'll just call me some name and dismiss my point,
that's the liberal way. I'm not a conservative either, I have never voted
Republican but I may be forced to as hysterical liberals with all their race
and class warfare just simply turned me and hundreds of thousands of others
off. The election of '04 is just the beginning. Unless Liberals develop some
sense of fairness they will be out of power of a long time. When you guys try
to get Martin Sheen to run for President, what kind of message does that
send?
